The five must-have Hermes grab-and-go bags
Running around or traveling light is easy with Hermès With everyone back to their hectic schedules following COVID, we are seeing an increase in bag rotation. It goes without saying, you won’t always be able to carry the Birkin when you are on the go (or Kelly, or Roulis, for that matter). It’s important that we have a few alternative options available; bags that are relatively easy to pack and can be thrown in a few necessities and run. There’s something about a grab-and-go bag that appeals to many people: the bag has many uses, is compact and functional, making it easy to stuff into a bootcamp locker or conceal in the groceries.
How do you decide which bag is best for grab-and-go?
Small bags vary from person to person in terms of what’s important to them when running around. Nonetheless, from the perspective of this article, the following are essential features:
- A simple mobile phone can be held inside, along with a couple of cards, some lipstick, and perhaps a hand sanitizer. An area is provided for storing keys.
- A little organization can be found inside. A credit card slot would be useful, at the very least, even if there were many slots for keeping your items easy to find. Keeping it secure is important.
- Straps or handles are attached to it. Hermès may classify it as a handbag or small leather goods (also called a handbag), but it isn’t exactly a bag. Since the main key here is ease, the bag should be comfortable to wear, whether it is carried on the wrist or crossbody.
- There are also several benefits to having: a formally closed bag, adjustable or removable straps, multiple compartments, etc.
- The addition of these features to grab-and-go bags can be useful, even if not all of them are suitable.
Taking Hermès on the go: Five great options
1.Elegant Crossbody : Nouveau To Be Available For 11,201 AED (Epsom and Swift) Dimensions are 20cm x 11cm x 3cm
Hermès introduced the Nouveau to Go this season, unlike most of the bags listed here, the Nouveau to Go is regarded as an SLG, therefore it is not an SLG. Nevertheless, it’s a beautifully understated, thoughtful option for running errands and needing a bunch of essentials with you.
Taking Nouveau to Take is like getting two for one. I can attest to that – figuratively speaking. An Azap or Silk-In wallet looks like it’s been fused with a pouch in this bag from Hermès. By combining both, there is a versatile option that doesn’t become too bulky or heavy.
Two leathers are used: Epsom for the large compartment (rear) and Swift for the smaller compartment (front). Silk is also used in technical silk, according to Hermès‘ website. There are four card slots in the long compartment, two slip pockets, as well as a central storage compartment; there is a pocket for change, as well as a smaller compartment for storage. The compartments are all zippered. There are two strap loops on the Nouveau back, allowing for adjustment and removal.
There is an excellent small bag made by Nouveau To Take that can fit an iPhone 13 (with or without the case), a few credit cards, money, notes, invoices, as well as a few keys. It can be worn around the neck thanks to the long strap. Color options are available from Hermès.
2.A Versatility For Everyday And Night : Available in Togo or Evergrain for AED 34707; AED 35808. for Evergrain; 10″L x 7.5″H x 1.5″D
It was released in 2021, and I wrote about it previously. Having owned this bag since then, I’ve become a big fan.
It’s possible that the least underrated and understated of all Kelly bags, Depêches 25 Pouch, can be found in the men’s department. It’s an excellent choice for anyone because it’s large and has a smart design. It shares the same proportions as the Kelly Dépêches Briefcase, with a fairly spacious interior – more than enough for your wallet, smartphone, makeup, and other necessities – The bag features a slide pocket that runs along the length of its front side, allowing you to carry it easily. Even though the Dépêches 25 is larger than some other grab-and-go bags listed here, it has an elegant design and is truly a bag, unlike some others that are purely casual, small, or both.
3. A Must Have for the Minimalist: Chains for Clutches 23,872 AED ( TADLAK ) 17cm L x 3cm H x 2cm D
In essence, this bag is a glorified keychain (lock), but its design makes it very useful. As a result of its attractive exterior, the bag stands out from the crowd; it has a tall handle that can be worn on the wrist/arm when necessary; it has ample storage for your phone, IDs, money, purse; a slide pocket runs along the back wall of the bag; and the narrow height to width ratio combined with a full side zipper prevents anything from getting lost inside.

4. The ultimate in handsfree : Hermèsway Mobile Phone Case 8,447 (Stoke) 8.7cm L x 16.5cm H x 2.2cm D
Designed for your phone, the Hermèsway Phone Case is just as simple as it gets: just a pouch attached to your neck (or crossed body), equipped with side and front pockets to hold your most essentials. Cards could be fitted in the card slot, facing the side, which is large enough to hold your license and a few bills too; you could tuck a hand sanitizer into the AirPods case; and the lipstick case, resembling the multicolored band of a Rouge Hermès lipstick tube, ideally fits a Rouge Hermès lipstick tube (for comparison, Rouge Hermès lipsticks measure 2.8 inches/7.2 cm high x 2.2 cm wide). The loops at either end of the adjustable strap could be attached to a key ring or the clasp could be clipped onto the strap.
5. Taking Hermès On The Run : Kelly & Constance
A few of the most coveted Wallet-On-A-Chain styles are the Kelly To Take (KTG) and the Constance To Take (CTG). In the past few seasons, both were released, revamping the Kelly Long and Constance Wallet styles, with a slight enlargement. Several card slots were also removed, interior connectors were added, and the strap was removed. Although there are slight differences in design and closures between the KTG and CTG, these wallets are essentially identical.
Currently: 20,199 AED (Exempla); 20383 AED (Cours); 27,912 AED. (Box) 19.7cm L x 11.5cm H x 1.5cm D
Almost identical in appearance to the Kelly Wallet (long version), the Kelly To Take (KTG) is well-suited to Traveling. A zipper section separated by a mini Cadena is in the middle of this slightly larger wallet than the Kelly Wallet. Two card slots are located in each compartment. Crossbody wear is possible with the removable strap of the KTG. The KTG has been reported to fit a 14-inch iPhone ProMax with case, key fobs, a passport – basically all the essentials – and when worn as a clutch or as a bag, it does elegant day-to-night duty.

The Kelly To Go can be seen in more photos as follows:
Infinity To Go: 20,565 AED(Infinity Color); 21,483 AED+ (Imperial) Length 20.5 cm x Height 13 cm x Depth 2 cm
There are a few things you may not find in the KTG, but the CTG is slightly larger and holds a lot more than the KTG for an elegant, practical handbag. In addition to the long pocket on the front of the wallet (under the flap) and the long zip sections in the middle, the CTG also features two sections. An open compartment is found in the front section; on the back, there are 6 card slots as well as another long pocket for bills. In the rear of the bag you will also find a slip pocket. It has been reported that PurseForum fans of the CTG can fit everything from an iPhone 13 Pro Max with the case, sunglasses, lipstick, a card holder, and a phone (but not simultaneously!. You can also use a key ring or a key ring hanging from the strap, or you can loop the key ring around the strap.
